Over the weekend of 20th and 21st September, Chamonix celebrated the "Journées du Patrimoine" (Heritage Days) with traditional cow-fighting and the Compagnie du Mont Blanc opened up behind the scenes at Montenvers.

As the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi approach, Chamonix will also be celebrating the first ever Winter Olympics, held 90 years ago in Chamonix.

After the first stage of the competition took place this week in Courmayeur, the Freeride World Tour has now arrived in Chamonix, and they've brought the snow!
