Superb chalet, superb location, superb all round customer service!
We were a party of two families: four adults, one 7 year old and two teenagers staying in Caprice des Neiges chalet during February halt-term. We arrived early evening after an efficient transfer from Geneva to Chamonix. We were welcomed by our super helpful Chamonix All Year rep. who took the time to chat through what the chalet had to offer: excellent facilities, underfloor heating, hot tub, keys, ski/board store and the best places to eat and drink, other activities available to us, such as free use of the local spa, luge, bus timetables etc… Chamonix All Year had also sorted out our lift passes, our rep also took the time to talk through current ski conditions and the best places to go during our stay. We had pre-booked in-resort transfers so we could take advantage of other ski areas and a day trip to Courmayeur. Chamonix All Year arranged for all our ski gear to be delivered and fitted when we arrived so we could hit the slopes first thing in the morning with no fuss. Also easy to change gear if needed - one of our party changed from boarding to skiing mid-way through the week. The layout of chalet works well for larger groups. We had one family on lower ground floor and the other family on first floor with communal dining, living area on the ground floor. There is plenty of space for everyone. The views are magnificent from different aspects around the chalet, particularly from the large balcony where the hot tub is located, which was easy to use, maintain and big enough for our party. The chalet is well equipped: super amenities, clean and spacious, modern kitchen and bathrooms, lovely Alpine décor and plenty of storage space for everyone’s gear. A real luxury home from home. The chalets location is excellent. It is about a 10 minute walk down to the Savoy nursey slopes, Les Praz gondola and the town centre - perfect for popping to the supermarket for provisions, apres ski and eating out. Great choice of restaurants nearby. We thoroughly recommend staying at Caprice des Neiges and the helpful staff a Chamonix All Year really cannot do enough for you. A superb trip – looking forward to coming back next year!

Fantastic Stay in summer Chamonix
For the trekking/climbing in Mont Blanc Mt, Caprice des Neiges Chalet is perfect place having 4 bedroom covering 8 peoples. Also, balcony and Jacuzzi looking snow covering mountain would be another good place for relaxing and enjoying the life in the mountain.

Comfortable well-equipped chalet with stunning views
Caprice des Neiges is a well-designed chalet with a lovely sunny terrace giving excellent views over the Mont Blanc Range. It is a convenient walk into town and also the other direction along the river towards Les Praz. It worked well for a family with three teenage daughters enabling them to have their own room. We thoroughly recommend it.

Convenient chalet in a fabulous location 10 minutes walk from Chamonix town centre
This is a good chalet for a large family group, it is on the south side of the valley so gets the morning and afternoon sun. There is a large balcony with a hot tub, bedrooms are spacious and well supplied with storage space. The kitchen is well equipped for those that like to cook.

Great spot, but a lot of little problems
Chalet was exactly as advertised. Well-maintained, pretty. Spacious. Problems - hot tub broke the first night, and the property manger wouldn't/couldn't/didn't fix it. We chose this chalet specifically because it had a hottub, so this was a major problem. The circuit breakers would trip causing the heat to go out. Property manger didn't supply kindling wood for the fireplace, so we had to haul some up from town. Property manger also didn't supply sponges, paper towels, etc. Wi-fi was slow and often went down. Now, these are little things, but for the high price we paid, I don't think it's unreasonable to cite them as not meeting our expectations. As for the location, if you don't have a car, then walking to the bus stops with boots on and carrying skis down the hill (and up the hill on the way back) can be tiring. Without the ski equipment, then walking into town is an easy 10 minutes,

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us in Caprice des Neiges. We're glad that you found it well-designed and as expected. We're very sorry and a little confused to hear about the hot tub. We appreciate that this is a major asset of the chalet and as such fixed the issue within 24 hours of your reporting it to us. The technician did discuss this with one of your group at the time, but we're sorry if this message wasn't passed on to you. Most of our chalets are rented on a self-catered basis, so we provide some essentials so you don't have to rush to the shops when you arrive but you do have to buy any extras yourselves. Firewood is provided in this chalet, so it's only kindling that guests have to buy themselves. There were several clean sponges under the kitchen sink when we went to look at the faulty hot tub, and we provide tea towels, but not paper towels to reduce waste. We were not aware of a wifi or electrical fault, so we will ask our property manager to keep an eye on both of these issues and we will take any steps needed with our electrician if this continues to be an issue. We hope that this didn't spoil your stay with us and hope to see you back again in the future.

The location and facilities that Caprice des Neiges offers are exceptional.
We arrived late in the evening and the temperature was minus 11, we were delighted to find the chalet very warm and welcoming. The internal décor and furniture is in keeping with the Alpine environment whilst being comfortable and user friendly. The distribution of the bedrooms works well and the kitchen/dining areas are top facilities. The hot tub was fantastic and eased weary legs after skiing whilst watching the sun set over the mountains - magical ! Proximity to the town centre was a real bonus enabling a easy walk back to avoid the parking headaches and the ability to have a few drinks with dinner etc. All in all, a top place.

We had a fantastic stay, the views are fantastic, the sun on the decking is heavenly and the jacuzzi is blissful after a hard day walking. We would definitely recommend the Chalet at it has everything you require for a wonderful holiday, great location, wonderful views, fantastic facilities and comfortable couches after a long day filled with walking, eating and drinking.

We loved the chalet which absolutely suited us for our week in Chamonix for Louise's wedding! It was well placed for getting to Les Praz and the view through to Mont Blanc was stunning.

4/5 - This is a very good spot from which to enjoy all of Chamonix - close to the center of town, yet very quiet. The house is clean and well equipped. On the negative side, there are only 2 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms. On balance, we have enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

5/5 - The accommodation offered is to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. The location is excellent situated on a quiet lane close to the town centre and enjoying excellent views of the Aguile de Midi - you can even see Mont Blanc from the kitchen window. The agent, Chamonix All Year offered a very good service; friendly and efficient. The only gripe would be that the beds are quite short - ok for us but anybody much over 6 feet in height might struggle.

"This Villa/Chalet is outstanding. It the second year running that we ( 8 of us, 6 adults and two children) have been staying at Caprice des Neiges and we are completel;y satisfied. The rooms are large and confortable and all bedrooms are well provided with warm blankets. Some of the accomodation features are particularly attractive: the fireplace, which is well supplied with fire logs for the entire stay, is very useful and cosy during cold spells, even idf the house is gwarm enough with a very efficient cenmtral heating. There is a hot tub on the balcony, large enough for 6-8 people , and after a day skiing, gt is most relaxing to sit in the tub, contemplating Mont Blanc; it is ver romantic when it is snowing : we often open a bottle of champagne and discuss the events of the day in the warm water , under the snow. The bathrooms are very convenient and fully functional: the grandchildren have a bath in a tub everynight. There are plenty of towels for the bathroom and for the hot tub. The kitchen is large and very well layout, with a very large fridge and a good oven There are good kitchen implements and crockery. It is a pleasure to prepare dinner for the family every night. There are places , specially built to store skiing gear and also a wash room for drying clothes. There is front garden with a gate which allows 2 cars to be parked safely. . There are TV sets, HI-fi, DVD players, game consoles and Wi-fi, with printer. The house was well prepared and cleaned before we turned up and we received comprehensive instructions about how to reach and how to use all its features. We found that the villa was not too far away from the ski slopes and the centre of town. I cannot fault this accomodation in any way and we will be back for sure."

This was my second stay in Caprice des Neiges and it was wonderful. You walk in the door and just feel at home. All the home comforts you could wish for and the beautiful view of Mont Blanc. The hot tub is just so relaxing. This is a perfect place to stay in Chamonix in a quiet area but within a short distance to the town centre. Already talking about returning next year. A big thank you to Nick Jo and the team for being on hand if help is needed.

Caprice des Nieges was a fantastic place to stay for our vacation. Kerry, who met us upon arrival, was very helpful and kind.
Tom Murray - Canada. June 2012
The chalet itself was lovely - large but cozy at the same time. It had all of the facilities that we needed - the highlight of course being the hot tub!
A wonderful trip and I will certainly be recommending your services to any friends of mine that are considering coming to Chamonix. Thank you again.
Tersia Pillay - UK. March 2012
Dear Nick and Jo, Thank you for making our family holiday the best we can remember. The accommodation was amazing;from the hot tub, to the open fire, not to mention the well equipped kitchen and DVD collection. We have not stopped raving about how good it was since we returned back to London. We have already decided as a family that we are coming back next year. Same chalet. When you find something this good, I don't think that there is any point in looking elsewhere.
Nick Fabbri - UK. December 2011
I stayed with my family in the Caprice des Neiges chalet. This accommodation is fantastic. It is like home from home. You walk in the door and its feels so cosy and comfortable. Everything is so clean and the beds gave us an excellent sleep. The kitchen is so well equipped you couldn't ask for anything more. The hot tub was an added bonus. Anyone who books this chalet will not be disappointed.
Tracey Devoir - UK. August 2011
Hi Nick and Jo,
We were so thrilled with our stay in Caprice des Neiges! It turned out to be even better than we imagined. We all enjoyed it so much that I would like to see if we can book the same chalet for Christmas 2012.
In the mean time I submitted the customer feedback form which I hope will be helpful.
This was a holiday with extended family that became one of the most memorable ever. We were all very comfortably lodged without being on top of each other. We enjoyed great meals on the terrace with Mont Blanc at our table! Grandparents relaxed and children splashed in the jacuzzi whilst we tried a few of the many activities available. Our children loved all the games and their own special bedroom. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment to make fabulous meals though we enjoyed some of Chamonix's wonderful restaurants too.The chalet really felt like home from home. We will be back for more very soon.
Sara Bosworth, August 2011

Our stay at Caprice des Neiges was perfect. It was exactly as you had written which is a rareity. Thank you.
Jane Benson, March 2011

The staff and accommodation were fantastic. We came at Christmas to enjoy the magic of Christmas in a traditional mountain chalet in the snow and this holiday ticked all the boxes.
Jason Shilton - Dec 2010

Hi Nick and Jo,
Thanks for a great holiday at Caprice des Neiges. Hope you found the key and everything was in order. We had no problems during the week (no breakages etc) apart from the downstairs shower we mentioned during our stay. We checked the hot tub in midweek and topped it up but we didn't use it after that - too much to do! Only downside for us was the weather for the CCC - our guys made it to Valorcine but then the race was abandoned because of the conditions. Unfinished business, so we may have to return and we'd definitely recommend Caprices des Neiges to our friends. Best wishes, Mark
Mark Doyle, August 2010

We had a brilliant holiday and really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The place was perfect and the location stunning.... so much so that I am still suffering holiday blues and wishing I was back there!! We love the area and chalet so much that we hope to be able to visit again in the future. Many thanks for all your help and advice.
