We have scoured our Facebook events lists and whittled down a list of our top tips for events in Chamonix this snow season – below in date order.
Burton4Girls training camp at Courmayeur
19th to 21st January

Burton4Girls is an exciting experience for women to share their passion for snow in an exceptional location at the foot of Mont Blanc. Enjoy exclusive meals, yoga sessions, training classes and expert advice sessions in English and Italian. The Local Riders package will cost you 155€ (accommodation and ski pass not included). Your Mont Blanc Unlimited ski pass will give you access to the ski areas of Courmayeur.
Slalom Men’s European Nocturne Cup
25th to 26th January, 5.30 to 8.30pm
Get your fan girl on at Les Planards to witness some of the best skiers in Europe… in very tight Lycra! These Slalom men deserve more than a sideways glance. Gather for this rather special cup, which takes place at night with an incredible atmosphere. The event is expected to attract several thousand spectators and the Planards restaurant is ready to warm you up with tartiflette and mulled wine. Then to finish the evening, the instructors of the ESF light up the piste with their classic torchlight descent.
Mont Blanc Retro Vintage
27th to 28th January

Just over 45 minutes away in La Roche sur Foron, discover local retro at the Mont Blanc convention of all things 40s to 80s. A real vintage market for lovers of fashion, accessories, music and décor, this is a day out of old-school mountain fun that is set to show off our retro ski history to the world.
Junction Festival Chamonix 2018

A new event of electronic music at the Olca hall in Les Houches with two mega sound systems. Enjoy Deep, Techno, Trance, Drum’n’bass and Raggatek with up to 1200 happy party people. There will also be a food truck on site and night bus transfers available.

Courmayeur Black Saturday

Black Saturday is an opportunity to enjoy the best Courmayeur has to offer – just through the tunnel under Mont Blanc. Our closest Italian sister town will be showing off special promotions and initiatives, just follow the trail of balloons and music! After a day on the slopes, the party hits the main street in true chic Italian luxury style… Be sure to wear your sexiest ski gear.
Epic Alpine Tattoo Week

Now here’s a chance to get a souvenir you will never forget… Held at the historic Majestic building at the foot of the Brevent in central Chamonix, the Alpine Tattoo Week is the very first event of its kind locally. Discover art and tattoos from over 50 artists as well as exhibits, pop up restaurants and live displays. Entrance is free to have a look but if you want to get inked be sure to book!

Chamonix Unlimited Festival
4th to 8th April
The Chamonix Unlimited Festival, brought to us by Black Crows skis, is 5 days of unforgettable dance music… especially if you love Techno! Spread across urban and alpine settings you can see Germany’s favourite Techno mastermind at Grand Montets: Paul Kalkbrenner. The after parties at Les Caves in Rue des Moulins are legendary, and aside from the music, it’s also a great chance to try out some new skis at the daily demos.
Musilac Mont Blanc
19th to 21st April from 3pm daily
Musilac touches down in Chamonix for this first edition of Musilac Mont Blanc. This festival, starting at 3pm, allows you to ski all day and end your evening with music and amazing vibes. The Pop Rock festival aims to host 15,000 festivalgoers a night with a programme of international artists, rising stars and new discoveries. Rag’n’Bone Man, Walk Off The Earth, Texas, Orelsan, Synapson, Iam, Beth Ditto… to name a few.

Snow film screening
Every Thursday until 26th April
Are you a fan of extreme sports? Then you will probably know “Nuit de La Glisse”. This film is dedicated to athletes who choose their sport as a way of life. This film presents magnificent panoramas: Norwegian Fjords, Tahitian waters and of course the Chamonix glaciers.
The price is 10€ per person, inquire with the Cinema Vox to know the precise schedules.

ALLEZ! The Chamonix Pioneers invite you to join the crowds this winter season as they compete in the Ligue Magnus championship at the Richard Bozon ice rink (156 route de la Patinoire 74400 Chamonix-Mont-Blanc).
The ticket office is on site, or buy tickets at the Tourist Office of Chamonix. The adult rate is 14€, under 16 years 10€ and free for children under 8 years – yes free!
