The snow is all around in Chamonix but that doesn’t stop us planning ahead to next summer. The lift opening and closing dates have just been announced for Summer 2014, so you can get thinking about your summer holiday in Chamonix, with most of the areas open from 14th June.
Brévent-Flégère, le Tour (Balme), les Houches and the Panoramique du Mont-Blanc at the top of Aiguille du Midi will be open from 14th June, with Les Grands Montets and Le Tour (Vallorcine) following on 28th June, and the last lifts staying open until 28th September! The Montenvers train and Aiguille du Midi cable cars will remain open from the end of the winter, through spring and into the summer.
And turning our thoughts back to the winter, Les Grands Montets will open this weekend with the other ski areas to follow soon!
