About your accommodation
The apartment in Chamonix is recently renovated and beautifully marries traditional Alpine decor with modern fixtures and fittings. Beautiful touches are everywhere, from the prints and photographs of old-time Chamonix, to the charming wooden desk and the hand-crafted wooden suit rack in the bedrooms, while the elegant bathrooms are the perfect complement to this.
The open plan living area on the upper floor of the apartment is very comfortable. Pull up an armchair or a pouffe, or settle onto the sofa to share stories of your day in Chamonix. Break bread around the dining table with plenty of elbow room for 8 people. Look down on the hustle and bustle of the town centre from the tall windows in the living area and then cast your eyes up towards the peaks of the Aiguilles de Chamonix.
The master bedroom of Le Kursaal Apartment is located on the upper floor and has a stylish walk-through ensuite bathroom with modern Italian shower, his'n'hers sinks and separate WC. There are double built-in wardrobes and a chest of drawers, plus full-length windows which open onto a Juliette balcony, overlooking the neighbouring buildings' courtyard (no access possible). The second bedroom, also on the upper floor, can be made as a double or twin, and has its own shower ensuite. It also benefits from a built-in wardrobe and full-length windows to ensure a light, airy feel, with the same aspect as the master bedroom.
Downstairs, the third bedroom also has the flexible twin / double configuration and ensuite shower, plus wardrobe as well as a window light onto the hallway.

Le Kursaal apartment is an extremely well-located apartment in Chamonix town centre. Pass the entrance of the traditional wooden handicraft shop - perfect for your souvenirs! - and enter your home away from home. The living area overlooks the busy main square of Place Balmat meaning that you have restaurants and bars almost literally on your doorstep. The main bus stop is only 250m away as you leave the pedestrian high street and the nearest Super U supermarket is 150m from your front door. A brisk 5-minute walk will take you to the Savoy nursery ski area for access to Brevent-Flegere, while the bus gives easy access to everywhere else throughout the valley.

Normal check-in time is from 5pm, if you are arriving after 10pm please let us know in advance.
Check-out times
Normal check-out time is by 10am.
Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Children
Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for 35€ to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
What's included
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure.

A parking card is provided for the public St Michel car park which is a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Downstairs bedroom
Note that the third bedroom downstairs is located within the building and as such does not have a window to the exterior. It does have a window opening into the hallway, which can be covered with curtains at night.
