What you say about skiing in Chamonix
The best Ski resort in the Alps by far. Best slopes, best after ski, friendly service, lots of activities and shopping & dinner places.
Taru Honkonen, Finland – February 2015
Chamonix is a year ’round resort with great scenery, a town with a bit of everything, and great food! You just feel healthier having been despite the good food and drink!
Simon Chesney, UK – December 2014
Exactly how you picture a ski resort should be with everything at your fingertips. Challenging skiing with diversity for good skiers. Age, beauty and amenities of Chamonix centre as well as unique beauty of the surrounding mountains. Ease of access from Geneva. Saturday market. Quality of restaurants and availability of fresh produce. Willingness of shopkeepers to pretend they understand Janet’s French – my French is beyond recognition.
Richard & Janet Chauvel, Australia – January 2014
We stayed in Les Houches which is nice and small and great for a first time skier or family such as us.
Jayne Clough, UK – January 2015

I love everything about Chamonix, I have been coming to Chamonix for 40 years !
We were in Les Houches and we really liked the small town feel.
Close to big airport with cheap flights and easy transfer. Often good snow conditions for skiing. Mix of alpine village and city-like availability of commodities.
Liked Les Houches as a family beginner area and close link to Chamonix
We love the large ski areas, vibe of the town and the fact that you can visit all year round.
There is plenty to do for non skiers – chamonix is a proper town not just a ski resort. It has enough extreme ski-ing to keep members of my family happy. I also have friends who live here.
