Le Kursaal Apartment is a beautiful and spacious Chamonix apartment set across two floors in the very centre of town. With 117 sqm of living space, stylish interiors, and thoughtful touches throughout, it offers a wonderful balance of Alpine character and modern comfort, an ideal choice for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy Chamonix in every season.
The apartment has been carefully renovated to combine traditional mountain materials with elegant, contemporary finishes. From vintage photographs of old Chamonix to handcrafted wooden furniture, every detail reflects a warm Alpine charm. The open-plan living area on the upper floor is bright and inviting, with large windows overlooking the lively town centre and the dramatic peaks of the Aiguilles de Chamonix. The comfortable sofas and armchairs create the perfect spot to relax after a day on the slopes or hiking trails, while the large dining table seats eight guests for shared meals and conversation.
The master bedroom, also located on the upper floor, features a stylish walk-through ensuite bathroom with a modern Italian shower, double sinks, and a separate WC. A second bedroom on the same level can be arranged as a double or twin, with its own ensuite shower room. Both bedrooms are bright and welcoming, with full-length windows and built-in storage. On the lower floor, the third bedroom offers the same flexible twin or double setup and a private ensuite shower room.

Le Kursaal apartment is an extremely well-located apartment in Chamonix town centre. Pass the entrance of the traditional wooden handicraft shop - perfect for your souvenirs! - and enter your home away from home. The living area overlooks the busy main square of Place Balmat meaning that you have restaurants and bars almost literally on your doorstep. The main bus stop is only 250m away as you leave the pedestrian high street and the nearest Super U supermarket is 150m from your front door. A brisk 5-minute walk will take you to the Savoy nursery ski area for access to Brevent-Flegere, while the bus gives easy access to everywhere else throughout the valley.

RecommendedGreat stay in centre of Chamonix
Had a great stay with friends. Chamonix All Year team were really helpful in reservation process and looking after us thereafter. Apartment has a brilliant location in the middle of town. Very close to the ski bus pick-up point (5 mins walk) and Inter Sport for ski hire. Very comfortable apartment also.

The apartment’s location is ideal for a family ski vacation and taking advantage of Chamonix. Short walk to bus stops or the Brévent lift. Short walk to any restaurants or markets. The apartment itself is well maintained and updated. The only suggestions we had would be a better seating configuration or options for more people in the main room and more blankets for bedrooms as well as for the main room for a cozier and comfortable atmosphere/apres ski.

The apartment was beautiful, clean and modern. Tons of room for a family of 6. Perfect location right in the heart of the city center.
Our only wish was that it had air conditioning, but there were enough fans provided to keep us comfortable. Would stay here again!!
RecommendedWonderful stay
We had one winterweek in Le Kursaal and are very happy about our stay. The apartment offers high standard with modern equipment and offers a cozy ”cabin” feeling at the same time. A 10 min walk up to Brevent gondola from the apartment and you’re ready for a day in the mountains. The only thing we were missing was a couple of cozy blankets for the living room. Not much to complain about.

This is a great apartment in the middle of Chamonix. Was really central to all shops and restaurants and it had a great steam room.

The location is amazing, the service by all the staff was superb
The upstairs area with the living area kitchen and 2 bedrooms was fantastic
There were ventilation issues in the down stairs bedroom which were promptly seen to but we still feel this needs to be looked at as the issue was still there.
But you are right in the heart of Chamonix which is fantastic, with everything at your fingertips.
Great access to the ski buses, shopping and restaurants.
Many thanks to the staff for all there help from beginning to end.
Note there are stairs to consider to get to the main living area.
RecommendedPerfect apartment in the center
This wonderful apartment is in the center of town and everything you need is just about few minuets walking. From the window of the living room you can see the lovely street and mountains.
The 3 big bad rooms has private shower and toilet with each bad room so it is realy comfortable.
The apartment is like 5 star hotel and you can get any kind of help from the nice and welcoming staff.

Superb view from the living room of the entire Mont Blanc range, Aiguille du Midi etc. And over the very heart of Chamonix's town centre - you could not get more central than an apartment above the Place Balmat! Lovely comfortable apartment. The only criticisms were that the beds in the downstairs bedroom are very narrow for teenagers/young adults and there is no window in that room so it can get very hot at night. But otherwise a lovely convenient base for any holiday in Chamonix.

We were in the apartment on mid Feb 2018 to a ski holiday (3 couples) and found a great apartment on a great location - In the middle of Chamonix.
The local team helped us with all needed, ski pass, ski rental and a lot of information.
The apartment is well equipped and the hammam in the apartment was very good after a skiing day
