About your accommodation
Chalet Alma is an outstanding, recently renovated, luxury Chamonix chalet that provides a perfect base for exploring the Chamonix valley. Situated in the sought after area of Plaine des Praz alongside the river path means in just 15 minutes' you can walk into the centre of Chamonix and access all of its shops, bars and restaurants. This chic luxury chalet boasts 4 stunning bedrooms with a 5th attic room making it ideal for one large or two smaller families. The master bedroom suite has a large double bed, ensuite with bath, shower and his n hers sinks, walk-in wardrobe and private balcony. There is a second double bedroom and two bunk rooms, one sleeping 2 with an ensuite and the other sleeping 4 with 2 sets of bunk beds. The fifth room is an attic room with ensuite shower and although the ceiling is low it is a perfect space for children or teenagers with three single beds and a stunning view through its glass wall overlooking the living room two floors below.
Chalet Alma is full of character and stylish touches but retains a home from home feel. The living area has been well thought out with a lounge area at the back of the house with a large TV, international channels, Blueray player and hifi and a second overlooking the garden, this area has a triple-height ceiling, surrounds the open fireplace and makes the most of the beautiful views of Mont Blanc with floor to ceiling windows. The dining room with its industrial style table seats 8 comfortably but there are extra stools if you are a large family. Off the dining room are sliding doors to the kitchen that has a fridge large enough to stock up for a couple of weeks and is well equipped for cooking any meal. The kitchen comes complete with large fridge freezer, range cooker, dishwasher & coffee machine.
In the basement of this luxury Chamonix chalet is a heated swimming pool, massage table and sauna. This area is family-friendly as it is accessed through a coded entry door. The chalet is at the end of a small cul de sac boasting a large sunny private garden with spacious decking area, outdoor seating, BBQ & table tennis table for use in the summer. There is ample parking including a covered space in the carport and the chalet comes complete with washing machine, tumble dryer & wifi.

Location & Map
Chalet Alma is located in the sought after area of Plaine des Praz, with spectacular views of Mont Blanc & the Aiguille du Midi. This luxury chalet is just a few minutes' drive from Chamonix centre or 15 minute comfortable walk along the river path into Chamonix's shops, restaurants and bars. The NEW Flegere cable car is just 5 minutes' drive away and gives you access to the whole Brevent-Flegere area for skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer.

Normal check-in time is from 5pm to 9pm.
Normal check-out time is by 10am.
Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Late check-in after hours
Check-in is possible until midnight, but please try to arrive before 9pm. For those arriving after 9pm there is a 40€ late check-in fee, which must be paid on arrival at your Chamonix Accommodation.
Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for 35€ to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

Additional Accommodation Details
Pets are welcome at this property but permission must be obtained in advance and a charge will be applied at time of booking. The additional fee is 40€.
Logs for the fire are stored at the back of the chalet, although if they run out you may need to buy your own from the nearest supermarket. Kindling is to be purchased from the local supermarkets.
