This is an entirely free festival and is the fruit of the imagination of André Manoukian, with the backing of Chamonix municipal authority.

The creation of series of downhill mountain bike tracks at the Flegere are now complete.

Each year during the middle of August the Chamonix valley celebrates the history of its mountain guides and their courageous achievements.
