We were blessed with glorious sunshine and high temperatures this summer which made for some very happy guests! Well equipped and homely accommodation. Wonderful views from the balcony, we enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountains in the morning and the table and chairs on the decking made the perfect location for a relaxing breakfast. Airport transfer waiting for us at Geneva and after a pleasant 1.15 hour drive arrived at our apartment. Wow, what a view towards Mont Blanc from the large balcony! The apartment was exactly what we required, clean, spacious and comfortable. We were met at the apartment by a member of staff who gave us our lift passes and passed on some information about the property and the sourrounding area, we were also told where the office was should we need to speak to someone.
Over the week we had some great, hot weather and did some stunning hiking to Lac Blanc, along the Grand Balcon Nord and Sud, Grand Montets, Le Tour and Brevent as well as a solo hike up the Mer de Glace. We also visited the Aiguille du Midi (twice) including the return trip to Hellebronner, and had a trip up to Montenvers on the red cog train.
We didn’t eat out, preferring to eat at the apartment, using the well stocked kitchen to prepare meals and dining on the large outside table.
All in all we had a perfect hassle-free holiday in Chamonix and will be returning yearly from now on and would definitely use Chamonix All Year again.

Having stayed with Chamonix All Year before I was sure we’d be well looked after, and after arriving from a swift and efficient transfer we were promptly met by our Chamonix All Year rep. It was a really nice way to start the holiday and we were given advice and helped with information on things to do and availability. We hope to go back to this apartment or another next summer as there’s always lots of undiscovered things to do in Chamonix for a summer holiday.
