Opening weekend in Chamonix
We have had an incredible amount of snow recently in Chamonix, in fact more than fell for the whole of the winter last year. This means all the lifts will be open this week subject to local weather and with near pefect snow conditions. We arte now guranteed a white Christmas.
However if you are travelling to Chamonix this weekend, then be aware that there will be some delays at the airports as the snow limit is dropping to 200m.
