About your accommodation
This central Chamonix apartment is beautifully furnished, marrying alpine and modern design to create a cool sophisticated holiday rental. The living area is spacious and well laid-out, ideal for a family of up to 6 people. There is lounge seating for 7, as well as a dining table and chairs seating 6. The kitchen is well equipped and benefits from a breakfast bar seating 4. In the comfortable living space there is a 46" smart TV with Sony surround sound which offers freesat UK channels and a DVD player with a library of DVDs. The lounge has large patio doors which open onto a good size roof top balcony, a large patio umbrella, an outdoor dining table and chairs seating 4.
There are 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom:
The master bedroom has a superking bed, and plenty of wardrobe space too. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.
The second bedroom has a double bed, the ensuite has a shower, sink and toilet.
The third bedroom is ideal for the kids, with a bunk bed set, next to this bedroom is a family bathroom with supersize bath.
There is covered parking for one car, which is located a few minutes away from the apartment (it is possible to drive very close to the apartment for dropping off luggage etc when neccessary).

Le Bartavel Apartment is located on the third floor right in the heart of Chamonix centre, directly overlooking the popular main street with all the big brand shops, bustling restaurants and trendy bars. You can look down onto the main pedestrian street from the terrace.

Normal check-in time is from 5pm, if you are arriving after 10pm please let us know in advance.
Check-out times
Normal check-out time is by 10am.
Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Children
Travel cots & high chairs can be hired through us for 35€ to include bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
What's included
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you discounted travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this property.
Access
This property is on the third floor and as this is a traditional Chamonix building there is no lift and therefore the apartment is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Parking
There is a designated parking space available for one car, located in an underground car park a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Fireplace
Unfortunately, the fireplace is no longer allowed to be used in this apartment.
Name Change
This apartment was previously called Penthouse le Bartavel.
EV Charging
There is EV Charging stations within the St Michel public car park that you have access to. These are available on a first come first served basis and payable as per any public charging station.
