About your accommodation

Chalet Les Praz is a stunning, luxurious 4 bedroom Chamonix chalet, located in Les Praz, just 5 minutes' drive from Chamonix and a short walk to the Flegere ski lift. Recently built, the chalet is finished to a very high standard with a huge open plan living room on the first floor with feature fireplace, and doors leading to a large sunny terrace facing the Mont Blanc. The chalet sleeps up to 8 people with 4 spacious bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor as well as a 4th bedroom off the living area with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. All the bedrooms have mountain views and two of them have direct access out to the garden as well. The lounge has a flatscreen TV with French satellite channels & DVD player, and there are two Parrot bluetooth speakers too. The kitchen is very well-equipped with Nespresso machine, fondue and raclette set, as well as a large fridge freezer with integrated wine fridge. There are two separate dining tables and chairs to allow guests to dine inside or on the terrace outside. Wifi internet access is available throughout the chalet, and there is parking for up to 3 cars outside too. The chalet also benefits from dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, and lots of additional luxury items to help you enjoy your stay.

Chalet Les Praz is a luxury Chamonix chalet located in a lovely quiet area in the Chamonix hamlet of Les Praz, just 6 minutes' walk to the Flegere lift, and 5 minutes' drive to Chamonix centre. There is a small selection of bars and restaurants on your doorstep in Les Praz, as well as a corner shop, and Chamonix within easy reach for more choice and larger supermarkets. The nearest bus stop just 300m away gives access to some of the local bus lines while carrying on another 300m to Flegere cable car bus stop offers links to all of Chamonix's lift areas for skiing and summer hiking, biking and walking.

Normal check-in time is from 5pm, if you are arriving after 10pm please let us know in advance.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.

Children
Travel cots & high chairs can be hired through us for 35€ to include bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.

What's included

One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you discounted travel on the local train and buses and more.
End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure.

Chilled excellence

We booked Chalet Les Praz via Chamonixallyear for relaxed corporate getaway. The Chalet was clean, well equipped ( we loved the log fire ) and in a lovely quiet place. We were there for good skiing/snowboarding good food and chilled out conversations over wine on the balcony. Being close to Flegere was handy and Le Petit Social down the road provided some great apres Ski. We could have done with more towels and duvet covers but that was a minor oversight. Chamonixallyear went the extra yard to organise an excellent Chef ( Phil ) for a few evening meals and breakfasts to make sure we were well fed. Could not recommend this more.

i like the chalet

the chalet is very nice and well equipped. the teams of Chamonix all year was so helpful and responsive. the only weakness was the cleanliness as the garden was very dirty with a lot of poop everywhere also the 1st floor was a little bit dusty.

Perfect Chalet and great location and views.

We had a memorable time at this wonderful chalet. The chalet is tastefully decorated and has a well equipped large kitchen that makes a pleasure to cook and bake. Excellent views of the Mont Blanc from several places in the chalet. Very confortable beds and showers. Friendly and helpful staff willing to provide additional services and the support you need. Excellent stay at Chalet les Praz

We had a perfect stay in Chalet les Praz! The chalet is beautiful, close to the cable car and a nice easy walk into Chamonix town centre too along the river. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We were met by a friendly person from Chamonix All Year on arrival who gave us lots of helpful info about the area as well. We can't wait to come back again.

Chalet le Praz summer stay

The chalet itself was completed to a very high specification, unfortunately this was emphasised several times by the Chamonix all Year representative to the extent that we felt we were being extended a favour to stay there (not paying £2000 for the week) Although the kitchen finish was very slick, if the owners really were so worried about the worktop then it might be better not to allow children on the booking. That said, the Chalet was well placed and was a good size for a family of four. The sitting room area was spacious but all of the furniture was very uncomfortable...at night the Chalet was very hot and with rooms on the ground floor not easy to cool down without leaving doors open. The deck area provided a lovely view of Mont Blanc and Auguille di Midi which we enjoyed most evenings and barbecues on the balcony were a real highlight. The set up overall seemed much better placed as a ski chalet, when the glass surrounded fireplace would really come into its own. We enjoyed the town and the mountains and we did have a good week but the overriding feeling was that the chalet would be a better family venue if it took itself a little less seriously and put comfort before style.

Lovely chalet for families, bright with wonderful views and close to ski lifts &the town of chamonix

We enjoyed our stay in the chalet and the staff were helpful with all of the questions we had. The location is excellent, walking distance to the bakery near by and one of the ski lifts in the region. The rooms are comfortable and has a great size garage to store all the ski gear. The common spaces are comfortable for a large family. When we checked out, we had forgotten something in one of the rooms and the cleaning crew found it and kept it for us at the office so one of our friends can pick it up for us. The customer service is excellent, a special thanks to Celine who has been wonderful. The only suggestion I would have for the chalet is it would be great to have a simple coffee pot as well instead of just the nespresso machine for the serious coffee drinkers in this world.
