About your accommodation
Chalet le Tricouni is a beautiful 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom chalet in the sought-after residential area of Plaine des Praz area of Chamonix valley with a traditional Nordic bath. Being close to the Flégère Cable car, which gives you access to the Brévent/Flégère ski area, this chalet is in an ideal location for exploring everything the Chamonix valley has to offer.
At Chalet le Tricouni, you can spend the evening cooking up a storm or relaxing around the open fireplace in the large open plan living-dining area of this Chamonix chalet. As well as the open plan living area, there’s an additional snug downstairs – perfect for the kids to play in or to escape for some peace and quiet, and with a sofa bed for 2 people.
The living room benefits from stunning views of the Mont Blanc massif and leads out onto the balcony and down to the private garden. Chalet le Tricouni's garden is perfect for kids to make snowmen in, and also has the traditional Nordic bath where you can soak your troubles away. In summer, there's a BBQ, and an outdoor dining table and chairs where you can enjoy al fresco dining with an unbeatable view. There is also a beautiful pavilion with seating for 8-12 to provide sheltered seating where you can enjoy the garden in all weathers.
There are five bedrooms, four ensuites and one with access to the family bathroom. The master bedroom is a king-sized bed and has an ensuite shower room and access to the garden. The other four bedrooms can all be made up with king-sized beds or with twin beds at your request.
The dining area has seating for up to 12 and the kitchen is modern and very well-equipped for self-catered holidays with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine.
There is outdoor parking for 2 cars and a ski room for storing skis and bikes in the summer. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and wifi.

Chalet le Tricouni is nestled in a beautiful quiet location around 10-15 minutes walk or 2 minutes' drive to Chamonix centre with access to all of Chamonix's shops, restaurants and bars. Flégère is the nearest cable car and is just a 2 minutes' drive away and there is a bus stop only 100m away that allows access to all the valley has to offer.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Children
Travel cots & high chairs can be hired through us for 35€ to include bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
What's included
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you discounted travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this property.
Firewood
Logs for the fire are stored at the chalet, although if they run out you may need to buy your own from the nearest supermarket. Kindling is to be purchased from the local supermarkets.
Hot tub
Please note the hot tub at this chalet is a traditional Nordic bath which means there are no water jets/bubbles.
EV Charging
There is an EV Charger at the chalet which is available for guests use at an additional cost.
