About your accommodation
Chalet le Tricouni is a beautiful chalet located in the sought-after Plaine des Praz area of the Chamonix valley, just a short distance from the Flégère cable car and the Brévent/Flégère ski area. With 3 ensuite bedrooms plus an additional snug with a sofa bed, the chalet comfortably sleeps up to 8 people, making it a great choice for families or groups of friends.
The heart of the chalet is its large open-plan living and dining area, where you can enjoy relaxed evenings by the open fireplace or gather around the dining table with family and friends. The modern, well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered holiday, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso machine.
On the lower floor, the snug provides an extra space to unwind, perfect as a TV room, a quiet reading corner, or as an additional bedroom thanks to its sofa bed.
The chalet’s living space opens onto a balcony with stunning views of the Mont Blanc massif and leads down to the private garden. The garden is an inviting place for families, whether it’s building snowmen in winter or enjoying a summer BBQ. A beautiful pavilion provides covered seating for 8–12 people so you can make the most of the garden in any weather. For those seeking a little extra relaxation, a traditional Nordic bath is available in the garden (at an additional cost).
Each of the three bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, an ensuite shower room, and direct access to the garden. The two additional bedrooms can be set up either as king beds or twin beds, offering flexibility for groups.
Additional amenities include outdoor parking for two cars, a ski room (also suitable for bikes in summer), washing machine, tumble dryer, wifi, and plenty of space to relax after a day in the mountains.

Chalet le Tricouni is nestled in a beautiful quiet location around 10-15 minutes walk or 2 minutes' drive to Chamonix centre with access to all of Chamonix's shops, restaurants and bars. Flégère is the nearest cable car and is just a 2 minutes' drive away and there is a bus stop only 100m away that allows access to all the valley has to offer.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Children
Travel cots & high chairs can be hired through us for 35€ to include bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
What's included
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you discounted travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this property.
Firewood
Logs for the fire are stored at the chalet, although if they run out you may need to buy your own from the nearest supermarket. Kindling is to be purchased from the local supermarkets.
Hot tub
Please note the hot tub at this chalet is a traditional Nordic bath which means there are no water jets/bubbles, this is available on request for an additional fee of 250€.
EV Charging
There is an EV Charger at the chalet which is available for guests use at an additional cost.

Guest Reviews
Chalet le Tricouni is comfortable, has a big kitchen, and a huge yard for relaxing in. It's a little removed from Chamonix, over in Le Praz, and so you get the peace and quiet while still being close to town. A bike is recommended for an easy commute as walking can take a while. There is also a really close bus stop. The Chamonix All Year team is excellent to work with and will take care of you during your stay if anything comes up. None of the rooms are a true 'master' room as they all have shared bathrooms to some degree. So the layout is a little odd, but totally works! We'd be delighted to stay here again!
The Chalet le Tricouni is a beautiful, spacious chalet in a quiet setting with a huge yard. There is plenty of common space, the rooms are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. It's clean and modern feeling while still retaining the charms of an alps chalet. The team at Chamonix All Year is responsive and great to work with. The only downside is it's in Le Praz so it takes a while to walk to the main pedestrian street in Chamonix. However, it's a beautiful walk with quick access to the trails to take you to town. We found having bikes made this commute much faster and easy. Getting away from the crowds in town can also be a blessing in the summer and this chalet was perfect for that. Would highly recommend it!
Our stay was wonderful. The chalet is newly renovated, fully equipped (washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen) and very clean. The location is fantastic, in a quiet neighbourhood with hiking trails out the back door. We would definitely book with Chamonix All Year again as they were responsive and a pleasure to work with.
We stayed in Chalet le Tricouni for 5 nights , the chalet is totally new with all the things you need for your staying, and located in a great location. Chamonix all year staff was responsive and gave as a great service.
