About your accommodation

La Saleina apartment (41sqm) is ideally located between the Brevent lift, and Chamonix centre, with direct access to skiing, climbing and hiking on your doorstep as a short stroll down the hill to the centre of Chamonix itself. The apartment is one of 6 apartments in an old traditional townhouse, and has spectacular views from the lounge and balcony overlooking Chamonix and facing Mont Blanc & the Aiguille du Midi.

The open plan living room is attractively furnished and benefits from a breakfast bar in the kitchen and a large corner sofa (with double sofabed) and armchair in the lounge area. There is also a table and chairs on the balcony too. The kitchen has a full size oven, hob and and fridge freezer, plus Nespresso coffee machine. For entertainment there is a Sony music system with bluetooth connectivity and you can enjoy the full cinema film experience with a projector and screen which is fitted into the ceiling. WiFi internet is provided and there is French TV channels

The bedroom has a double bed with open shelving, hanging space and drawers under the bed. The bathroom has a shower, sink, & WC, hair dryer plus a washing machine and separate clothes dryer.

Outside there is communal parking for the building (6 spaces). There is a communal ski room or room on the balcony to store your skis.

La Saleina apartment is ideally located. Just a few minutes walk up to the Brevent lift, with direct access to Brevent and across to Flegere. And a few minutes walk down the hill and you are right in the heart of Chamonix itself where you will find the tourist office, maison des guides, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.. The apartment benefits from spectacular views over the town and across to Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi too. To access other areas of the valley, you can catch the bus from the bottom of the hill by the town centre (Arret Chamonix centre).

Normal check-in time is from 5pm to 9pm.

Check-out times
Normal check-out time is by 10am.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of €25 for apartments and €50 for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.

Late check-in after hours
Check-in is possible until midnight, but please try to arrive before 9pm. For those arriving after 9pm there is a 30€ late check-in fee, which must be paid on arrival at your Chamonix Accommodation.

Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for £35 to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this property.

Bike Storage
There is no specific bike storage area inside the building.

What's included

  • One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
  • If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change. Mid-stay cleaning can also be added at an extra charge - speak to the Resort Team or book on our Resort Shop.
  • Tourist guest cards will be given to you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
  • End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

At the bottom of the Savoy slopes, the brand new (2018) Hotel Folie Douce will be hosting daily après ski sessions in their underground party bunker where the clients of the hotel mix with locals and tourists alike. The fun begins at 4pm and ends at 8pm, making it an ideal early evening pit-stop on your way back to Le Brevent apartment, especially if you have been skiing the Brevent pistes above.

There are 6 spaces allocated to the building, just below the building on chemin des Bruyeres. The parking is not private and therefore we cannot guarantee availability, during high season you may have to park elsewhere in Chamonix.

Ski Storage
The ski room is communal with the other 5 apartments in the building.
