We know that little accidents can happen on holiday. If you or someone in your group accidentally damages something during your stay, our Damage Protection takes care of qualifying costs up to the amount confirmed at the time of booking, subject to our Booking Terms and Conditions.
If something gets damaged, simply let us know as soon as possible. Reporting an accident doesn't automatically mean you'll be charged. It just helps our team put things right quickly, so you and future guests can continue enjoying the property.
You'll only need to pay if the damage isn't covered by our protection or the repair costs exceed your property's Damage Protection Amount.
A little fine print
Damage Protection is a contractual damage waiver and is not an insurance policy. It does not cover deliberate or reckless damage, theft, breaches of the property’s rules, smoking or vaping, unauthorised pets or parties, additional cleaning, normal wear and tear, or guests’ personal belongings.
Therefore Damage Protection isn’t a substitute for your own travel or personal liability insurance. You should arrange appropriate insurance to cover you and your belongings throughout your stay.
The Damage Protection Amount for your chosen property will be shown at the time of booking. Full details of the protection, including what is covered and excluded, can be found in our Booking Terms and Conditions.
Less to worry about, more time to enjoy your Chamonix holiday!
