Walking distance from Chamonix town centre
Fifteen minutes is a comfortable walk into town for dinner and back afterwards. It means nobody has to drive, nobody has to look for a parking space on a Saturday in February, and you can stay for the second drink. The valley floor is flat, so the walk back is no harder than the walk in.
Quieter neighbourhoods close to the centre
