About your accommodation

La Cordee 504 Apartment is proof that you don't need to book an enormous high-end chalet to enjoy luxury holiday rentals in Chamonix. Chamonix's newest and chicest development, the Residence La Cordee has all the facilities that you could hope for, on site, including heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, fitness room and a climbing room, and is located in the highly sought-after Plaine des Praz area of Chamonix valley.

A holiday in La Cordee 504 Apartment includes access to all these facilities, as well as a 3-bedroom apartment home-from-home to accommodate 6 people. Inside the apartment, you will enjoy the spacious living area which has an interconnecting lounge to the kitchen-dining room. In the lounge, there's a TV with Chromecast capabilities, if you can tear yourself away from the view! The dining table seats 6 comfortably, and the kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Both areas also have floor-to-ceiling patio doors which open on to the large terrace.

Take a seat on the terrace, either at the table for a meal with a mountain view, or on one of the sun loungers. It doesn't get much better than enjoying the Mont Blanc panorama and the morning sun which hits the terrace when it rises above the mountains. The terrace also looks out over the Champraz lake and the communal sun deck.

La Cordee 504 Apartment's master bedroom has direct access onto the terrace, as well as an ensuite bathroom, with bath and overhead shower, his 'n' hers sinks and WC.

The second double bedroom has windows on 2 sides and also enjoys direct access to the terrace. The third bedroom can be made as a twin or double, and all bedrooms have wardrobes for storing your clothes. The second and third bedrooms share the family bathroom, which has a walk-in shower and WC.

Finally, the apartment has a washing machine, ski locker and outdoor parking.

The Residence La Cordee occupies a prime position in the Chamonix valley - within easy walking distance of Chamonix town centre, in a peaceful, lakeside location. La Cordee 504 Apartment benefits from this position and the spectacular views of Mont Blanc, and is just 5 minutes' drive from the town centre; you can also comfortably walk into Chamonix along the river in about 15 minutes to access all of the shops, restaurants and bars. Flégère is the nearest cable car and at just 5 minutes' drive away this ski lift that was new in 2019 makes the Flegere ski area one of the best accessible and most fun in the valley.

Additional Accommodation Details

Residence la Cordée: The residence was fully renovated with work finishing in 2019, however please note there will be ongoing snagging work to one wing in the season 2019-20. Noise or work should not affect the bedroom or balcony of this apartment.

Communal areas: Residence la Cordee enjoys spacious communal areas including a sundeck, reading lounge with fireplace, kids' play area, football table and pool table.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of €25 for apartments and €50 for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.

Late check-in after hours
Check-in is possible until midnight, but please try to arrive before 9pm. For those arriving after 9pm there is a 30€ late check-in fee, which must be paid on arrival at your Chamonix Accommodation.

Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for £35 to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this property.

What's included

  • One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
  • If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
  • Tourist guest cards will be given to you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
  • End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

Wonderful stay in a super apartment
We had a great stay in this apartment. It's very comfortable with everything we required for the week. The pool is just next door so we used it all the time and mostly had it all to ourselves as it was a quiet week. Our 3 and 5 year old had a super time swimming and using the play room and we enjoyed the peaceful lake-side location. If I had to nitpick I would say there is perhaps an over-reliance on ikea shelving etc which although new, was not closing properly and the curtains were very poorly hung so as to make it difficult to open windows and move aside to fully appreciate the views. Chamonix All Year provided amazing service and were super helpful with all our queries.

Pro's and con's of our stay at La Cordee 504
The staff of Chamonix All Year was very accommodating and helpful in responding to all our questions and making reservations, e.t.c.La Cordee 504 is a brand new apartment and there were some mishaps and inconveniences during our stay: 1. TV was not functional and technician couldn't make it to fix it 2. Lack of some detergents, bathroom supplies 3. No bus schedules and bus routing available in apartment 4. Having a list of suggested restaurants and their contact info would be helpful 5. Gym, spa and shower areas were not in good condition: Jacuzzi's temp. was cold, no soap/shower gel in the showers, steam room temp. should be adjustable or be higher 6. Somewhere in advertising literature it should be mentioned the walking distance/time from the apartment to center of town
