L’appartement Résidence des Alpes 302 est un hébergement spacieux de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain, en plein centre de Chamonix avec cheminée, balcon, vue sur le Mont Blanc, parking, machine à laver, TV, wifi par fibre optique

Situé dans l’un des meilleurs quartiers de Chamonix avec balcon orienté au sud qui surplombe la rivière l’Arve et une vue extraordinaire sur le Mont Blanc, l’appartement Résidence des Alpes 302, très spacieux est au centre de tous les commerces, restaurants et bars de la ville. Cet appartement de location à Chamonix se compose d’une grande salle de séjour ouverte sur le salon avec cheminé et la salle à manger séparée qui donne accès au balcon avec sa petite table et 2 chaises. L’appartement Résidence des Alpes 302 est également composé d’une belle cuisine équipée avec un grand four, lave-vaisselle, machine à laver et réfrigérateur/congélateur. Une télévision écran plat et un lecteur DVD sont à disposition. Les deux chambres spacieuses peuvent être aménagées en lits doubles ou deux simples, et il y a deux lits en Z (lits simples escamotables) et le canapé se transforme en deux lits simples, ce qui permet des arrangements flexibles pour les couples, les familles ou les groupes d'amis. (les lits ont été remplacés en 2022 suite aux commentaires des clients.) Il y a deux salles de bains, l'une avec une baignoire, l'autre avec une douche, il y a une machine à laver et un sèche-linge. Il y a un parking souterrain sécurisé pour une voiture et un casier à skis pour ranger vos skis loin de l'appartement.

Excellent!

This apartment is centrally located on the main pedestrian street through town. It's spacious, has two bathrooms, two balconies, perfect views of the Mont Blanc, and is quiet! We didn't cook, but seemed to have everything you'd need to do so. We'd definitely stay here again!

What a view!

The apartment is right in the middle of Chamonix, perfectly located. The building is secure and quiet. The view from the balconies and dining area are amazing!! Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided (though not in sufficient quantities for a week-long stay, so we had to purchase more of some basic items, as we expected).

The kitchen isn't great to cook in. It could use some updating, especially the cooktop. It wouldn't be too costly to install an induction cooktop that worked well. The current radiant heat cooktop is terrible. And the same with the oven. It would be easy to install a decent convection oven. The only other slight negative is that the bedding could benefit from an update, though we all slept okay.

Other than these small items, the apartment is wonderful and provided a comfortable place to come back to after a day of hiking and exploring the beauty of Mont Blanc and the surrounding area.

The management company needs to re-think the directions given in emails. They're not helpful. The building number clearly displayed next to the entrance is different than the number they have in their information. Their wifi information for the apartment was incorrect as well (fortunately, the property owner provided the correct wifi coordinates in other emailed documents).

Great central location to stay at!

We loved the accommodation it was well supplied/stocked and we did not need for anything. Very clean. The accommodation is very central to town and we walked everywhere in beautiful Chamoix.

Many restaurants and cafes to choose from and 4 supermarkets to buy some supplies from.

The staff at Chamonix All Year were very friendly and helpful - highly recommend them.

Generally all the people we encountered were friendly and most spoke English.

Great for a week’s skiing in Chamonix

A very spacious apartment for 4 adults. Comfortable beds and good showers. Close to the centre - but still quiet. On the 3rd floor with lift access and a view over the river.

Chamonix All Year were very helpful throughout - both prior to arrival and during our stay.

The ski lockers are in the underground garage. There was just enough room for 3 sets of skis and no heating in the lockers.

Perfect base for UTMB race

The location of this property is perfect - right in the heart of Chamonix, but in a quiet building and facing the river. This is particularly important during UTMB week since accommodations facing the other direction hear the race announcer at the finish line 24/7. And Chamonix All Year was great to work with.

Stunning apartment in front of Mont Blanc

This apartment is absolutely gorgeous.
The location is unbeatable, next to the pedestrian street with numerous restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
The views couldn't be better, really.
We were there end of June, for and during the Marathon du Mont-Blanc.
The atmosphere was festive & joyful, yet the apartment was very quiet.
We could hear people cheering trailers approaching the finish line.
We could also see headlamps going down Plan de l'Aiguille at the end of the 90km event, magic.
I can add that the standard of the building is very high. Everything is quiet: doors, amenities...
Definitely an outstanding place where to stay in Chamonix, for groups of 3 to 8 I believe.

Quality flat in a super Chamonix location

Hello:
Chamonix All Year, who we've used in the past, has always been a very positive experience. They are quick to reply, are in the centre of Chamonix and offer a great supporting service.

What we like about it: Super Chamonix location, stunning views, rather spacious, nice balcony and the benefit of basement garage accessible by the lift - bit tricky to find the first time, but easy afterwards. Using a car to get our to Grand Montets for me is much better than the bus, note that parking does fill up 10am or so. Really is a quality flat.
What could be improved: The sofa and living room chairs are rather basic and not so comfortable for such a nice flat, the overall décor and the drapes are also not really becoming of the level of apartment as well. The hallway and garage lights are annoyingly on a switch timer and its often a mystery to find the switch in the dark at first, could be improved with motion detectors. The ski room is rather dire, and could only get three pairs of skis in for the four of us. There are shelves for boots in the locker but no boot dryer.
The positives far out weigh the minor issues mentioned above and would be happy to be back in Residence des Alpes 302 appt again next year.

Nice Place and Great Location

A very comfortable and roomy apartment. Lovely balcony with fabulous views of Mont Blanc. Convenient to restaurants, groceries, etc. We have stayed here before and look forward to another visit. Hiking around Chamonix is wonderful. Chamonix All Year made checking in and out very easy. They are very accommodating.

Great apartment in a great location.

This is really nice apartment right in the centre of Chamonix with nice views over the river, 4 minutes from a bus stop and only about a 10-15 minute walk to the bottom of the gondola. I would strongly recommend it and Chamonix All Year (who were very professional). The only small issue we had was that the ski locker (which is within the parking garage) could only fit skis for 3 people and you are not supposed to bring skis to the apartment...

Amazing location in a cosy apartment with tremendous views!

Our family of five loved our winter escape to Chamonix. The apartment location on the pedestrian street was ideal for accessing everything we needed -- from groceries to snow-shoe equipment to vendors selling chocolat chaud. In fact, during our weeklong stay, we only used the car once to explore a gorgeous snowshoe mountain trail in nearby Vallorcine. We were able to do everything else in Chamonix on foot within a 20 minute walk of the apartment.

The accommodation is cozy and a bit outdated, but it served our needs. We enjoyed having a fireplace at the end of a day in the snow. In the winter, it was a bonus to have covered garage parking too. One of the highlights of the apartment is the views to Mont Blanc. Unfortunately due to the weather, we never did see Mont Blanc, but we did enjoy the views over the river and up the mountains.

We do agree with some other reviews regarding the beds; while the mattresses are comfortable, they really are narrow and could benefit from an update (e.g. wider beds and/or duvets). In the kitchen, it would be helpful to have a few additional items, such as an oven mitt, trivets for hot food, and some additional serving plates/bowls.

Overall, we would definitely return again if given the chance!

Great location and it's a nice spacious apartment. It's very convenient having a washer and a separate dryer - especially on a ski holiday or if you have young children. However the furniture is well used and needs upgrading. On a previous review - someone suggested having larger beds and you replied that there was no room being that one of the bedrooms has built in furniture and a large bed would not fit in. We stayed in that bedroom and there is plenty of room for a king sized bed. Please tell the owners that if they're renting the apartment out full time they need to plow some of their profits into furniture maintenance.

excellent stay, fantastic location.

Excellent stay again, a little bit pity, that at the arrival only another garage was available. The lady fixed that, but it is not funny, when you arrive after 11 hours driving. The device for de DVD was not there, but one telephone call was enough. No WIFI for the whole week.

Xmas 2019 Chamonix

Can't rave about the location enough. The apartment and the associated parking were perfect for our needs. The open fire was great over Christmas. The town looked incredible all illuminated at night. The apartment itself was great the balconies afforded amazing views of the mountains. Having the separate bathroom and shower room each with a toilet was nice. We would definitely stay here again. My only observation would be if I had to find fault which is hard. Its not exactly cutting edge modern on the fixtures and fittings front. But that's being picky everything works and is adequate just a little tired and dated. Oh and an iron but no ironing board is a little strange. We would however stay again in a heart beat. Great break!

Lovely apartment in terrific location.

This is a truly spacious well positioned apartment.
Two balconies that followed the sun. Large, bright, & comfy living room. Fabulous views of the mountains. Kitchen was more than adequate not top of grade though. Lots of equipment all nice and clean.
Two good sized bathrooms, great showers. Essential with a family participating in energetic sports.
Two spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage. Mattresses are subjective, for me it was absolutely fine for the other half too soft.
In my view it's a lovely apartment in a fantastic situation.

A piece of paradise

Fantastic flat deep in the center of Chamonix, with an unique 360’ view of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi. It’s equipped with all the modern comfort, not last a fireplace in the center of living room.

Very satisfied, great apartment for a relaxing holiday.

Location is excellent, close to everything. There's someone reviewed with own photo somewhere else and it looked quite horrible and made us worried, turns out that such photo was very wrong, the room is actually really nice, warmly decorated, lots of space and sufficient for 3 adults and 2 kids without feeling tight, very clean, good layout with wonderful view over Montblanc from both balconies /both bedrooms and dining table, ok size TV, good wifi, lots of toys for kids, good 2 separate toilets and showers (not strong shower if used at the same time though otherwise excellent), good facilities for clothes washing and drying. Underground parking is also very convenient. Didn't use fireplace so can't comment, might be good during winter.
However, I feel check out by 11 or 12:00 and check in from 15:00 like most other places would be more reasonable than the current ones (check in between 17-21:00, check out before 10:00, anything differ needs extra payment).
Three minor things: no cutting board so we used a big plate instead, no coffee maker so we bought 1 cheap filter coffee maker (left it there), and 1 bedroom with balcony connecting to the neighbour is not very soundproof - we had no issue on the first week but our 2nd week neighbours seemed to love being at their balcony late at night to talk and listen to their music loudly so that's a bit annoying, we switched the bedroom among us so that the person who doesn't mind such noise would sleep there so case close. We could hear river stream but not much when closing all the windows and it's not very annoying noise anyway but prepare earplugs if you're sensitive to it.

Great Stay, Very Helpful

We enjoyed a great stay at Chamonix - nice apartment, perfect location, easy checkin (and early was no problem). Also great service: We needed a doctor to treat a broken wrist. The people at Chamonix All Year helped us find a doctor and arranged transportation to get to his office in Argentiere.

A perfect vacation

Our stay at Residence de alps 302 was perfect for my family. The apartment was located right near the town walking and ski areas. The apartment was spacious and the views were amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Chamonix to consider staying at this location.

Mountain Views

Another wonderful, trouble-free stay in Chamonix, all organised through Chamonix All Year. The apartment was bright and welcoming with FABULOUS views up to Mont Blanc. Situated right in the centre of town, the apartment was quiet but close to bars, restaurants, buses, and was just a short walk from the railway station. We enjoyed some cosy evenings in preparing simple meals in the well-equipped kitchen; other evenings we were able to walk the very short distance to a variety of restaurants (the nearby Anna Purna Indian restaurant is particularly good).
One tiny quibble: the pillows weren't very comfortable. Also, the apartment would have been better value for money if the exchange rate was better, but since that applied to everything on the holiday that was really beyond anyone's control.
We certainly plan to return to Chamonix in a couple of years time and fully intend to re-book Les Alpes 302.

Fantastic Apartment

My wife and I stayed in this great apartment for a week with another couple. It’s really big and there was so much room for lazing around in the evening. There is also 2 bathrooms which is a big plus. The apartment is also in a great location in the town and is very close to the bus stops. I would definitely stay here again.

excellent location with an outstanding view in a very comfortable appartment

We stay in the Residence les Alpes 302 for the third time, and we enjoy our stay very much again.
The DvD player was missing, but the people of Chamonix All Year fixed that very soon.
In the center of Chamonix, but nevertheless very quit.

Residence Des Alpes Chamonix

We had a lovely week in Chamonix while staying in this apartment. The apartment is in an excellent central location and extremely well equipped with everything from essentials for cooking/ dining to TV/games (scrabble) etc . I would definitely recommend it to any future guests. Compliments to the owners and thank you. We were looking for a visitors book to write a few complementary lines ...... but there was none ! Here's to next year!

We have stayed in this apartment on four occasions and have no hesitation in recommending it to other visitors to Chamonix. Practically, it has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location of the apartment block is a couple of minutes from the main thoroughfare with easy access to shops, restaurants and general stores. The view from the apartment is stunning, facing the Mont Blanc range; underground car parking available; 'Chamonix All Year' team helpful and available. There are so many things to see and do in the area, it's such a beautiful place. We hope to return next year!

There was a time when the key of the door was difficult to open.
(It was difficult for us to unlock the door.)

A wonderful apartment

This is a lovely apartment right in the centre of Chamonix which is very convenient for shops and restaurants and is also only a short walk from the nearest ski bus stops. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a large living room with a balcony and log fire (if you want it). The apartment also has wonderful views across to Aiguille de Midi and Mont Blanc. This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment and would definitely come back again in the future.

Our stay week of Feb 25

Family of five here. We enjoyed our stay very much in Chamonix. Here a quick pro & con for (hopefully) easy read;
Pros:
- great location, walking distance to restaurants, shops, pool etc.
- comfortable living and dining room area, with fireplace & small balcony
- light-filled
- underground parking
- friendly and reactive staff
- easy reservation process
- kitchen, though a bit small, had everything one needed. Good sized fridge / freezer.
- washer and dryer inside the unit
- we did not use any of it, but I saw toys, highchair and other items for small kids

Cons:
- I did not realize how small the beds were. Tight and uncomfortable for adults.

They are standard double beds in the bedrooms, but we appreciate that nowadays many guests prefer larger beds. One of the beds is built-in, but we will certainly bear in mind your comments for the second bedroom if the owner is looking to upgrade soon. We hope to see you back again soon!

Wonderful apartment - fantastic location - and amazing views. Very warm and comfortable - great to come in out of the cold and have the heating on. Lovely views from the balcony and the dining area - very central to everywhere.

Comfortable apartment with an fantastic view, on a good location.

Excellent location, in the center of Chamonix, but nevertheless very quit. A hundred meter from the bus-station.

Good location and stay but with some things to improve

Please give us large beds for adults ( 160 cm mini )
Please change the "canapé-lit " so dirty and same with armchairs
Please keep the property warm before using
Please change TV so old
Please clean into the furniture, specially cupboard
With all of that it will be a wonderful place

Appartement spacieux et idéalement place

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement idéalement situé en centre ville de Chamonix. Accès direct à la rue piétonne et aux commerces, nous n'avons pas utilisé les voitures du séjour ! La pièce principale est grande, les deux chambres ainsi que les deux salle de bain avec toilettes permettent, même à six personnes, de garder une certaine intimité et de ne pas se marcher sur les pieds. L'appartement est très bien équipé, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour la cuisine (excepté une cafetière mais nous n'en avons pas eu utilité). Il y a même des jouets pour les enfants, des DVD. Il n'y avait par contre pas la seconde télévision dans la chambre permettant de lire les DVD (mais la aussi, cela n'a pas manqué). L'agence a été très professionnelle, réactive quand nous les avons contactés lors de notre arrivée et surtout très à l'écoute quand nous leur avons demandé de nous fournir un décodeur pour recevoir les chaines de télé en français (seules les chaînes anglaises étaient accessibles). Une suggestion peut être : ajouter dans le descriptif le plan d'accès au parking de la résidence car cela n'est pas évident à trouver du premier coup même si nous avons un descriptif écrit...parfois l'image est plus utile qu'un texte. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à Chamonix et n'hésiterons pas une seconde à louer de nouveau cet appartement et à passer par Chamonix All Year!

One of the best apartments that I have used in Chamonix

This excellent apartment is perfect for 4 - 6 people. It is located right in the centre of Chamonix yet still feels removed from the crowds. The views from the balconies are superb. The apartment is spacious, generally in good order and very well equipped: wifi, dishwasher, oven, washing machine, tumble drier, TV and DVD, lots of crockery and cutlery, and a large fridge freezer. A huge English DVD library is useful for rainy days and there are toys to keep children amused. There are excellent storage cupboards for climbing/skiing equipment. The two bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom and shower room are good and hot water is plentiful. The apartment had been cleaned to a high standard at change over. Highly recommended.

There is only one downside - the sound of rushing water from the river was surprisingly loud at night. Light sleepers be warned!

Residence des Alps stay July 2016

Our stay at Resdince des Alps was perfect from beginning to end. The apartment is in a fantastic location, not far from the center of Chamonix but away from the noise - the only sounds are from the river. The views of mont blanc from the terrace are amazing. Will definately be back to stay in the future.

We spend a nice holiday in this flat. All was clean and perfect as usually. The location is central in Chamonix and with a nice view to Mont Blanc. The flat was well fournished.

Spacious living in central location.

Living area (kitchen,living room,dining area) very spacious, Bedrooms and bath/shower rooms adequate.
Good standard of fittings and everything worked.
Excellent location for ski bus and shops/ eating options.
Whilst property could do with a thorough deep clean, it was in no way dirty.
Arrangements through Chamonix all Year were excellent.
Overall this is the best appartment we have stayed at.

light and airy

If you are looking for an apartment with space this is one for you!
A large living area meant there was room to spread out. There were only 3 of us in the apartment but it would have been equally as good for 4 people. There were numerous pull out fold out beds for further guest so I'm not sure where everyone would sleep / store their clothes.
Great showers and bath with endless hot water.
Kitchen is compact but it all works well. Great to have good laundry facilities of both a washing machine and a dryer (we had been very surprised in previous more expensive apartments that these weren't always available).
Nice real fireplace. TV on the small side for the size of the room and old eyes. The mattresses were a bit lumpy so I didn't sleep blissfully but I maybe have Princess and the Pea syndrome!
Perfect location right in the centre. Very secure and quiet building. No issues driving in and out of the carpark even after heavy snowfalls.
Chamonix All Year were very efficient and friendly and responded quickly to questions.

very good apartment. only complaint is that it is a shame the double bed in the main bedroom is so small when there is plenty of room for a bigger one. I'm not vastly fat but my wife found that I hogged most of the available space!

Nice appartment with an excellent view

We enjoyed our stay in Alps 302 very much. Comfortable appartment, large enough and a splendid view on the Mont Blanc. The appartment is in the center of Chamonix and directly next to the mainstreet.

Apt 302 des Alpes: A Great Place To Stay!

This is a fantastic, roomy residence for a group of 4-6. It is centrally located right off the main shopping street and is close to great restaurants, has quick access to the main grocery store and busses for skiing. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils. The appliances work and are easy to use and the furniture is comfortable. The apartment is quiet, has a wood burning fireplace and two balconies. It was tastefully decorated and we felt very much at home during our week's stay.

Apartment wth great views of Mont Blanc, central Chamonix location with underground parking

The apartment is in a great location in central Chamonix with underground parking. The apartment was very clean but a little tired. The seating covers in the lounge were shabby and dirty, not what I would have expected from a lovely and homely apartment. Easy access to the pedestrian area of Chamonix, able to enjoy the night life without requiring transport.

Nice, clean and very confortable flat in the very center of Chamonix.

Fully reliable service. An excellent appartment in an excellent location with a first rate view.

Some unexpected but welcome extras eg main uk tv channels enabled us to watch Wimbledon in the evenings.
