Villa Mon Idee is a beautifully renovated historic masonic building dating back to 1862. This exceptional accommodation in Chamonix centre consists of 3 apartments, 8 bedrooms, that occupy the four floors of this house and can sleep up to 20 people with flexible sleeping arrangements in 9 different rooms complete with a hot tub in the garden. This unique building has been eclectically renovated to the highest standard and provides a unique accommodation experience, perfect for large families or groups of friends.
The penthouse on the upper floors of the building provides a beautiful master suite with a double bed, large TV, sofa area, fridge and ensuite shower and toilet. Off the master bedroom are two small annex rooms, one with a set of bunk beds and one with a sofa, making a perfect space for a family sleeping up to 4 people, there are two double bedrooms and a fourth bedroom with full sized bunk beds in this apartment also. On the middle floor there is a double bedroom and a quad room with two full sized bunk beds. The ground floor consists of a fifth double bedroom and a triple room with three single beds. Each apartment has a family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, a separate toilet, a washing machine and dryer.
This building hosts a beautiful mix between the historic building, modern fittings and chic furnishings across three large living rooms and there is a separate dining room in the upstairs apartment. The apartments in Villa Mon Idee each have a fully equipped kitchen, including a full sized oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, so you can spit up starter, main course and dessert across your group, however if you would rather eat out there is a huge array of restaurants available within a minutes walk and our resort team can tell you their favourites when you arrive.

Villa Mon Idee is a historic house set less than 200m from the main square in Chamonix town centre .This unique accommodation in Chamonix is 5 minutes' walk from the Chamonix centre bus stop where you can catch a bus up and down the valley to make the most out of the mountains. The shops, restaurants and bars start across the road and the nearest large supermarkets are less than 5 minutes away by car or on foot.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for 35€ to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this property.
Bikes can be stored in the lockable ski rooms in the basement of the building.
** BUILDING WORKS
A new building development is beginning construction during Spring 2023 next to Villa Mon Idee Apartments. We expect there will be noisy work (including ground and structural works) during the summer months and, according to French law, these can happen between 07.00 and 20.00, but not on Sundays and bank holidays. If you would like to book for Summer 2023, knowing that there is likely to be noise outside between these stated times, we have applied a 15% discount to the price by way of compensation for the disruption caused.
