Villa Mon Idee is a beautifully renovated historic building dating back to 1862. The Penthouse apartment offers exceptional accommodation in Chamonix centre, occupying the upper two floors of the building and a hot tub in the garden. This recently renovated Chamonix apartment can sleep up to 9 people across 3 bedrooms but 5 different sleeping areas. There are two other apartments in the building that are perfect to join together with this apartment for group bookings of up to 20 people.
This Chamonix penthouse apartment has been recently renovated with a distinctive style which spreads across the three apartments in the building. Villa Mon Idee Penthouse has 3 bedrooms, a large living room, a seperate kitchen and a separate formal dining room off the kitchen with a table that seats 8-9. The living room creates a warm relaxing space where you can put your feet up and read a book or watch TV. The well equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm and includes a full sized oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine but if you would prefer to eat out then there are several restaurants on your doorstep.
On the top floor of the building there is a stunning master suite with a double bed, large TV, sofa area, fridge and ensuite shower and toilet. Off the master bedroom are two small annex rooms that each have a sofa bed in them, making a perfect space for a family sleeping up to 5 on this top floor. Downstairs there are two further bedrooms, a beautifully decorated double bedroom and a third bedroom with full sized bunk beds. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, there is a separate toilet and a utility room off the bathroom which contains a washing machine and dryer.
This unique accommodation in Chamonix centre is perfectly located with the main square less than 200m away and bars, restaurants and shops can all be found on your doorstep. There is shared outdoor parking with the other apartments in the building. The apartment comes complete with WiFi and large ski locker/ bike storage. All the apartments in this building host a beautiful mix between the historic building, modern fittings and chic furnishings giving mountains of character and creating a special base for any Chamonix holiday.

Villa Mon Idee penthouse is set in the heart of Chamonix town centre with the main square less than 200m away.This Chamonix apartment is 5 minutes' walk from the Chamonix centre bus stop where you can catch a bus up and down the valley to make the most out of the mountains. The shops, restaurants and bars start less than 200m away, the nearest large supermarkets are less than 5 minutes away by car or on foot.

Check-in times
Normal check-in time is from 5pm, if you are arriving after 10pm please let us know in advance.
Check-out times
Normal check-out time is by 10am.
Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Children
Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for 35€ to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
What's included
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure.

** BUILDING WORKS
A new building development is beginning construction during Spring 2023 next to Villa Mon Idee Apartments. We expect there will be noisy work (including ground and structural works) during the summer months and, according to French law, these can happen between 07.00 and 20.00, but not on Sundays and bank holidays. If you would like to book for Summer 2023, knowing that there is likely to be noise outside between these stated times, we have applied a 15% discount to the price by way of compensation for the disruption caused.
