About your accommodation

La Cordee 623 Apartment is a stylish 2-bedroom apartment in Chamonix's newest and chicest development. Residence La Cordee has luxury facilities on site including heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, fitness room and a climbing room, and is located in the highly sought-after Plaine des Praz area of Chamonix valley.

La Cordee 623 Apartment has one of the best aspects of La Cordee Residence, with a large south-facing balcony spreading the length of the apartment with unspoilt views over the gorgeous Champraz lake and the stunning panoramic views of Mont Blanc beyond. This balcony has a table and 2 chairs, as well as lounge chairs for relaxing in the sunshine. The open plan living space, with its lounge, dining area and kitchen, runs the length of the balcony to ensure maximum light and so you'll keep catching glimpses of the beautiful views from wherever you are.

The kitchen is sleek, modern and well-equipped with nespresso machine, full size oven, induction hob and fridge freezer. The dining table comfortably seats 6 people with patio doors leading onto the balcony. The lounge has an extremely comfortable sofa, ethanol fireplace, and smart TV and also give access to the balcony via patio doors. The whole apartment has been finished to a high standard with Italian furnishings.

There are 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom has direct access onto the balcony, with a superking bed, wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a zip & link be which can be made as a twin or double bed, plus an extra fold out bed when required.
Above the lounge is a mezzanine area accessed by a steep staircase with a single bed suitable for adults or teenagers as an extra sleeping area if required.

The Residence La Cordee occupies a prime position in the Chamonix valley - within easy walking distance of Chamonix town centre, in a peaceful, lakeside location. La Cordee 623 Apartment benefits from the south-facing aspect of the central building, with spectacular views of Mont Blanc from the large balcony accessed from the lounge and dining area. This apartment in Chamonix is just 5 minutes' drive from the town centre; you can also comfortably walk into Chamonix along the river in about 15 minutes to access all of the shops, restaurants and bars. Flégère is the nearest cable car and at just 5 minutes' drive away this ski lift that was new in 2019 makes the Flegere ski area one of the best accessible and most fun in the valley.

Check-in times
Normal check-in time is from 5pm to 9pm.

Check-out times
Normal check-out time is by 10am.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of €25 for apartments and €50 for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.

Late check-in after hours
Check-in is possible until midnight, but please try to arrive before 9pm. For those arriving after 9pm there is a 30€ late check-in fee, which must be paid on arrival at your Chamonix Accommodation.

Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for £35 to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.

Pets are welcome at this property but permission must be obtained in advance and a charge will be applied at time of booking. The additional fee is £30.

What's included

  • One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
  • If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
  • Tourist guest cards will be given to you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
  • End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

Additional Accommodation Details

Residence la Cordée:
The residence was fully renovated with work finishing in 2019, however please note there will be ongoing snagging work to one wing in the season 2019-20. Noise or work should not affect the bedroom or balcony of this apartment.

Mezzanine single beds
The beds on the mezzanine should only be used by teenagers or adults due to the access. Please take extra care on the staircase as the top section is quite steep, it is unsuitable for children or anyone with mobility problems.

Communal areas
Residence la Cordée enjoys spacious communal areas including a sundeck, reading lounge with fireplace, kids' play area, football table and pool table.

Luxury apartment with amazing views
From start to finish Hanna at Chamonix All Year has been superb. Even helping with sorting the vet our for our dog. We were met by Hanna on arrival and they even got the place ready early so we could check in early. The apartment was just perfect and the views out of this world. Whilst I would change a couple of things about the apartment personally it was a fantastic location (short walk into town) with pretty much everything you needed. Nice to have use of the leisure facilities and perfect on site parking. C.A.Y could not be more helpful and I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks for a perfect stay....

Everything was perfect.We already reported to CAY the problem of a bad smell during the night coming from the bathroom side the main bedroom. We just closed the door.I quote Good the Value For Money just because we stayed less than 1 week (5 nights) paying for the all week, but we know this is normal for the kind of rent, considering we took our decision to spend few days in Chamonix the day before!Overall, a very great stayThank youMarco
