Ginabelle 17 Apartment is a superb newly furnished apartment situated right in the centre of town, overlooking Place du Mont Blanc, with 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate additional WC. This Chamonix property is located close to all the shops, restaurants and bars as well as the Planards ski nursery slopes, this 80sqm apartment is spacious, with a large open-plan living area, well-equipped kitchen, dining table for 6-8, and lounge seating for 6. Ginabelle 17 Apartment has a master bedroom with double bed with ensuite bathroom comprising bath and shower attachment plus WC. The 2nd bedroom can be either twin or king bed while the third bedrooms has twin beds and they both share a bathroom with shower. There is a good size balcony with table and chairs leading off the living room, with spectacular panoramic views including Mont Blanc, across the town centre, and up to Brevent. There is one underground parking space for this Chamonix property, ski locker, and there is also free wifi in the apartment as well as satellite TV and DVD player.

Ginabelle 17 Apartment is situated right in the centre of Chamonix, within a short 2-3 minute walk of the beginners ski lifts at Les Planards, and the summer luge & leisure park. The main bus stop at Place du Mont Blanc is just over the road from this Chamonix property for access to all ski areas in winter and walks, hikes and biking in summer, and the train station is only 150m away. There is a small supermarket on the other side of the square and bars, restaurants and larger supermarkets are just 2 minutes' away in the pedestrian town centre.

Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of €25 for apartments and €50 for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.

Late check-in after hours
Check-in is possible until midnight, but please try to arrive before 9pm. For those arriving after 9pm there is a 30€ late check-in fee, which must be paid on arrival at your Chamonix Accommodation.

Children
Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for £35 to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.

Pets
We are sometimes able to welcome pets in this property; please enquire with us before placing your booking. In that case, a charge of £30 will be applied at time of booking.

Bike Storage
Bikes can be stored in the underground parking area on the private parking space allocated to the apartment.

What's included

  • One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
  • If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
  • Tourist guest cards will be given to you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
  • End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

Parking: the underground parking is quite narrow, so not recommended for larger 4x4s and higher vehicles. The height limit is 1.9m, and width is 2.8m.

A spacious appartment for 6 or 8 if using sofa beds. Great location in town. Plus points. well kitted out and decorated, associated with Ginabelle 1 for pool and spa. negatives: road noise can be poor, 3-4 am deliveries to units below noisey. main bedroom floor needs attention to eliminate movement noise. Better quality china (chipped) with more glasses needed. Chamonix all year round excellent on customer service. Would definitely use apartment again.

Good value
We had a week stay and a great trip. The apartment was well-appointed and in a good location. However, some maintenance is being overlooked. The ski room was flooded, a number of light bulbs need replacing, extracter fan in en suite bathroom is not working, the curtains are way too long for the window openings in the living room and there is no functional clothes drying rack. A pity given all the other pluses.

my experience in Genabelle 17 summer 2015 / 2016
frankly speaking the apartment in general is very much suitable for a family consist of 6 person maximum ,the apartment design is wonderful the view is great and the furniture conditions is not bad and it is not new it is okay but I personally recommend to be changed , I had a chance to see other nearby apartments and I had found that the furniture condition and type was much better in comparison with the available furniture in this apartment .The allocated parking space in the basement of the building is really narrow so that it can accommodate only small cars . there is problem while parking the big cars such as the minivans .the most important thing which i need to focus on is the deposited money for the apartment , it happened with me this year and also in last year that although I had left the apartment clean and tidy and had applied and followed all the rules . un justified deduction was applied on the deposited money this was in summer 2015 therefore I did not get my full money back , unfortunately for this year vacation 2016 I have got nothing till date from the deposited money which makes me really upset and think seriously to find other location to stay in the future for vacation .

We do block a damage deposit on a bank card for all guests who stay with us as per our T&Cs (https://chamonixallyear.com/about-us/chamonix-all-year-details/terms-conditions/), but this is fully refundable when the apartment is left tidy and with no damages, and is standard practice in self-catered accommodation. For both of your stays with us we released the damage deposit in full, and we do hope to see you back again next year.

Loved it! The location was perfect. We could catch the ski bus right outside the apt. If we wanted bread it was right there. The only thing missing was a hair dryer.

A very enjoyable stay
We stayed at Ginabelle 17 for a week during the February break. It is very conveniently located, a step away from the shuttle bus or the shops. It made it easy to go on and out on a whim, so we enjoyed downtown Chamonix every day. There is an excellent bakery in the same building, rental stores around, and a 'cooperative fruitière' selling local cheese just across the street. We parked the car in the underground garage and did not use it for the whole duration of our stay. The apartment itself is well organized; we particularly enjoyed the sitting area and the open floor plan between the kitchen and the living area. Although we were six, it never felt cramped. There are two bathrooms and a total of three toilets, as well as a washing machine. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished and have a great home feel to them, and there's plenty of storage (dresser + closet).We would definitely reconsider staying again in the same apartment, if we return to Chamonix. One item that does not come with the apartment is a hair drier, but we borrowed one free of charge from Chamonix All Year through which we had rented the flat. No raclette oven either, but we borrowed one from the cheese shop across the street by leaving a deposit.The apartment is located close to the heart of Chamonix, so it is not the quietest mountain retreat, but it definitely has its perks, so the trade off was really worth it. In all honesty, the noise generated by the trafic was rather low.Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay in this property.

Great apartment for a family break
All great except...... the parking provided would be lucky to park a Smart car if there was someone parked opposite and our mid sized station wagon was a physical impossibility so add €30/day for outside parking.One bathroom shared is very small.Well appointed well located good size and Chamonix all year staff very helpful.Would stay again if travelling by motorcycle (parking)

the building in general is located in a very nice place it is not far from the Chamonix central area it is only a matter of few minutes walk , the appartment was very suitable to my family it was clean spacious and equiped with nice furniture .

Stayed in Apartment 17, Ginabelle, Chamonix last week on a ski trip. This was a super apartment right in the centre of town. It had easy access to all the buses and the main shopping area, train station & bars. Small patisserie under the building meant fresh bread every morning. All in all, this was a really comfortable experience. Had a problem with the boiler thermostat one evening but this was rectified quickly by the managing agent, I would not hesitate to return to this apartment in the future
