About your accommodation
Chalet des Surelles is a beautifully renovated demi chalet in Chamonix's Les Praz area. Its ideal location guarantees stunning views of Mont Blanc, and the careful renovation promises comfort and style in every room.
The ground floor's open plan living area benefits from a section of glass ceiling above the lounge area, allowing you to enjoy the double-height mountain views from the bay window, next to the warmth of the woodburning stove. The dining table comfortably sits 8 people and the modern kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered holiday including coffee machine, dishwasher, oven & microwave. The chalet entrance on the ground floor also has ample shoe and coat storage cleverly hidden away to keep the sleek designer lines, and a separate WC.
On the first floor, there's a TV snug and it's even possible to sit and take in the view from the glass floor. The first floor also houses the master suite: the king bedroom enjoys a Juliette balcony with views over the terrace of Mont Blanc, as well as a walk-through wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with Italian shower and 'secret' balcony access. This little balcony under the eaves overlooks the chalet's front door. There's also a separate WC on this floor.
The remaining three bedrooms are located on the second floor. There are two bedrooms which can be made as twin or king beds, and each has access to the balcony facing Mont Blanc. One of these twin bedrooms has an ensuite bedroom with bathtub, WC and his'n'hers sinks. The third upstairs bedroom has a double bed, and an ensuite corner with sink and shower.
Additionally, there's a terrace off the living area, from where you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of Mont Blanc throughout the day, as well as shared access to a garden beyond the terrace. The chalet has an underground garage with bike storage, boot warmers and ski locker, plus parking for a small car (see "Good to Know" below).Key Features

Location & Map
Chalet des Surelles is located in the beautiful Plaine des Praz area of the Chamonix valley. It's an easy walk into Chamonix, particularly in summer along the river, and only a few minutes' drive. The village of Les Praz is only 500m away with its small local store, bars and restaurants. Larger supermarkets are available in Chamonix town. The Flegere gondola lift (new in 2020) is also located in the village, and there are bus stops and a train station close by too for easy connections to the rest of the valley. This is one of the best locations for a chalet in Chamonix valley.

Normal check-in time is from 5pm to 9pm.
Normal check-out time is by 10am.
Flexible check-in / check-out times
If these times don’t suit your holiday arrangements, you can book our flexible early check-in / late check-out service (subject to availability). This must be booked with us in advance, and may be subject to a fee of 40€ for apartments and 80€ for chalets so that we can prepare the property in time.
Late check-in after hours
Check-in is possible until midnight, but please try to arrive before 9pm. For those arriving after 9pm there is a 40€ late check-in fee, which must be paid on arrival at your Chamonix Accommodation.
Travel cots & high chairs / booster seats can be hired through us for 35€ to include cot mattress, bed linen and a towel. You can add this to your booking at the time of booking.
- One set of bed linen and towels is provided at your accommodation for your stay.
- If you are staying for 2 weeks or more you will have a mid-stay linen change.
- Tourist guest cards will be left in the property for you on arrival to give you free travel on the local train and buses and more.
- End of stay cleaning is included at your accommodation, but we do expect you to follow our check out instructions on departure. If you prefer you can book an additional cleaning service.

Underground garage & bike storage: the underground garage has a very tight turning circle which makes it difficult for large cars to get back out so it can only be used for small cars or bikes. There is a dedicated bike locker within the garage, and plenty of space for bikes.
Twin / king bedroom: the third (non-ensuite) bedroom, located on the second floor, shares bathroom access with one of the other ensuite bedrooms.
