Film festival

The programme of film screenings is packed with inspiring tales and will be spread over 4 nights, with those involved in the films (filmmakers and adventurers) on hand to share their exploits and inspirations. Films entered in the festival competition will be judged by an international jury, and prize-giving will take place during the last night of screenings. See the full programme pdf.

Photography course

Acclaimed adventure photographer Tristan Shu will run the two-day Adventure Photography School for the second year, for those interested in learning how to capture the best adventure sports images and finding out more about equipment and post-production. The course will involve outdoor shooting sessions with athletes, and indoor sessions on post-production processes.

Adventure Film School

The Adventure Film School enters its third year and will be run once again by award-winning local filmmaker Sébastien Montaz-Rosset. The two-day course maximises shooting time at selected locations in the Chamonix valley with adventure sports athletes, and provides invaluable techniques and experience of filming in difficult situations. The course is suitable for less-experienced and semi-professional filmmakers alike.
