Key Objectives

We are looking for someone to become a long term member of the Chamonix All Year team as our new Head of Housekeeping. The company has a great supportive team culture, and the nature of the business ensures a fun and diverse working week. The role is full time, and all year round.

You will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping duties across the Chamonix All Year accommodation portfolio, including the day to day management of all cleaning staff, organising and overseeing changeovers, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, managing the distribution and collection of linen, and keeping properties stocked and prepped for rental.

You will work in partnership with the head of Property  Management and  alongside the Resort team to resolve any issues arising during and after guest departures and will need to have a keen eye for details and high standards in order to help ensure properties are kept to the high standard expected by Chamonix All Year for its clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of Cleaning teams and the changeovers of properties
  • Organising cleaning schedules and resource needed during and out of season
  • Recruitment of cleaning managers
  • Management of linen stock and liaison with laundry company
  • Organising linen orders by property
  • Management of linen returns
  • Management of household products across portfolio and cleaning products for staff
  • Liaison with Resort team regarding inventories in properties
  • Keeping relevant CAY teams and systems up to date on relevant jobs
  • Working with the Head of Property Management
  • Manage interseason deep cleans across portfolio
  • Management of team budgets

Experience

Ideally, you will have lots of invaluable housekeeping and cleaning experience and already worked with a holiday rental company before. You should have a keen eye for detail, and very high standards. You must be organised, disciplined, and a strong people manager , as well as having a good supportive nature too.  You will have experience working in a team environment and also be good at multi-tasking and working under pressure.  You must be happy to work flexible hours and you will need a full driving license too.
